HEY

I'm Rosie

Welcome to Bright Sign - Wellness & Empowerment Solutions.

Hi, my name is Rosie and I am a CODA passionate about making a positive impact within the Deaf community. I have a passion to empower people to advocate for themselves and have meaningful connections so they can live their best life.

One of my roles is giving people access to a variety of day programs in their own language to gain new skills, confidence and new connections. The reason I am so passionate and why I have created Bright Sign is because my parents and the clients I work with are fed up with the barriers they have to face and the lack of support and services available.

I am a wife and mother of 2 children. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors horse & bike riding, walking my dog at the beach, gym and being creative in my business. I have a keen interest in Art/craft, animals and anything wellbeing related.

I have a strong background in administration and customer service due to my previous workplace working with trains. I am good at working under pressure, being compassionate and most importantly a drive to get what needs to be done, done! I am continuously learning through feedback and my personal development.

While I had a wonderful career I felt that it was time to push myself out of my comfort zone and peruse what I feel is my calling. I have a deep understanding of the barriers the deaf and HOH community face. Being a CODA and working within this community.

Since embarking on my new chapter I have never stopped seeking learning opportunities. I have completed the Diploma of interpreting course, received my NAATI qualification, completed a business course, many personal development weekends and personal coaching.

Thank you for reading and learning about me
